About

Hi, I’m Marius.

Marius Indrei, photographer, in the field

Design taught me composition. The woods taught me light.

I came to photography in 2002 through design work — and through years of hiking and camping across Michigan with a camera that kept getting heavier and better. Those two threads still define everything I shoot: the structure of a designer, the patience of someone who’ll wait an hour for the light to drop behind a ridge.

Today I work in three lanes. Brand & lifestyle — editorial product, campaigns, and athlete content for outdoor and lifestyle brands. Hospitality & spaces — restaurants, boutique stays, and design-forward architecture photographed for marketing. And people & portraits — cinematic personal-branding portraits for founders, athletes, coaches, and creatives.

In March 2026, my work on Blackbirch Cabin ran as a multi-page feature — “Old World Charm — Up North” — in 24/SEVEN Magazine.

How I work

01 — Plan

We talk about where the images will live — listing, website, press, socials — and build a shot list around that, not the other way around.

02 — Shoot

Scheduled around the best light for your space or your face. Interiors at dusk, portraits at golden hour, aerials when the wind allows.

03 — Deliver

A curated, fully edited gallery in my signature look — sized and formatted for every platform you need.

Let’s find the right light.
